5 Things That Set Our Gatlinburg Restaurant Apart

The Park Grill is raising the bar when it comes to restaurants in the Smoky Mountains! We focus on much more than just the food. When you visit us, you get a full Smoky Mountain experience, complete with southern hospitality, a cozy atmosphere that feels like home and some of the best flavors you’ve ever tasted! Here are 5 things that set our Gatlinburg restaurant apart from the rest:

1. It’s a True Family Affair

Welcome to The Grill sign at The Park Grill in GatlinburgWe understand there’s nothing more important than family. That’s why The Park Grill is a true family affair! Our roots go back decades ago when Geoffrey Wolpert began managing what is now our sister restaurant, The Peddler, in 1978. After eventually purchasing The Peddler, Geoffrey and his team elevated its profile, transforming it into one of the most beloved restaurants in the Smoky Mountains. Today, Geoffrey’s sons run The Park Grill! Jacob serves as our restaurant’s general manager and Jordan works as the kitchen manager, using lessons passed down from Dad. We invite your family to come join ours, where you’ll be treated as such!

2. All the Classic Flavors of Southern Appalachia

Many Gatlinburg restaurants specialize in a certain dish. Here at The Park Grill, we do it all — to perfection, each and every time, no matter the meal! As a matter of fact, there’s not a lot you won’t find on our menu. From mouthwatering cuts of hickory-grilled steak to chicken, beef, pork, fish, shrimp, burgers and sandwiches, there’s something sure to tantalize your taste buds. Add in delicious desserts like Black Bear Brownie Bash and Peanut Butter Mud Pie and you’ve got the best dining experience around!

3. The Unlimited Salad Bar

Featuring fresh ingredients and homemade salad dressings, make your salad just the way you like it. The salad bar comes complimentary with each of our specialty entrees or you can even make it your meal. Can’t get enough of it? Return to the salad bar as many times as you’d like to enjoy this Gatlinburg staple!

4. Our Rustic Mountain Lodge

What’s the secret to our success? It’s all in the details. From service to food, we care about the little things. Speaking of details, there are plenty of them in our rustic mountain lodge! Our Gatlinburg restaurant was constructed from wood taken from old spruce trees in Payette National Forest in Idaho, so you can still see their natural markings like giant knots and scars. The stonework at our restaurant is made from the stones of rock fences in nearby Cosby, Tennessee! All of these details and our cozy decor combine to create an atmosphere that feels like you’re being wrapped in a comforting blanket of Smoky Mountain culture and history.

5. We’re the Unofficial Restaurant of the National Park

National Park signThe Park Grill is the unofficial restaurant of Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Unlike other national parks, there’s no restaurant located within the boundaries of our park. But, our Gatlinburg restaurant is located right by the entrance of the park, making us a popular choice for travelers from across the world who visit and are looking for a delicious meal! Be sure to check us out before or after your adventures in America’s most visited national park for an unforgettable experience sure to provide all the flavor and energy you need.

We hope to see you soon at our Gatlinburg restaurant where you’ll enjoy an incredible time with those you love the most! In fact, you’ll feel right at home at The Park Grill!
