First off, we have Ober Mountain, which is home to some of the best opportunities for winter sports in the Smokies, with great trails for skiing and snowboarding, plus ice skating, and more. However, Ober Mountain has fun activities available during other times of year as well, such as downhill mountain biking, the scenic chairlift, a wildlife habitat, their mountain coaster, and other things to do that the whole group can enjoy before or after sitting down to a delicious meal at The Park Grill.
2. Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
Another of the Gatlinburg attractions that you can easily walk to from our restaurant is Ripley’s Believe It or Not! This unique attraction is home to a wide variety of interesting exhibits that will blow your mind and challenge your reality. From the chance to touch a meteorite, see a rare wooly mammoth leg, and check out Ripley’s iconic shrunken head collection, there are surprises around every turn at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
3. Hollywood Star Cars Museum
Have you ever dreamt of seeing the Batmobile for yourself? What about the DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future? Or vehicles from The Fast and the Furious? If so, you are in luck! The Hollywood Star Cars Museum is home to a fabulous collection of famous vehicles from iconic movies and television shows, and it is just up the road from our Gatlinburg restaurant. The cars are displayed with lights and sound effects that enhance the overall experience, and you can even get your photo taken in many of the vehicles!
4. The Gatlinburg Trail
Although it is not technically an attraction, we can’t resist mentioning the Gatlinburg Trail on this list of things to do right near our restaurant. Our restaurant’s name is inspired by our close proximity to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and there is no spot in the park closer to us than the Gatlinburg Trail. Just head across the street from our restaurant to discover this excellent hiking spot!
